Welcome to the Red Knights Motorcycle Club WV Chapter 6 web site. We are a club for members of the fire service and their families who enjoy riding motorcycles. Membership is open to all firefighters, active or retired, career or volunteer, who have access to a motorcycle and hold a valid motorcycle drivers license. The Red Knights WV Chapter 6 sponsors various rides throughout the year, such as Poker Runs, dinner rides, and just plain old fun rides. We also participate in other Chapter and motorcycle club activities whenever possible.

The members of the Red Knights WV Chapter VI would like to thank everyone that participated and volunteered their time to put a fantastic poker run together!! There were multiple fire departments and law enforcement agencies that helped block roads and escort us to the next jurisdictions. Thanks to the Hooverson Heights Vol. Fire Dept., Inc, who let us use their hall and parking lot to start the ride. A special thanks goes out to WTOV-9 for sponsoring the event!

May They Not Be Forgotten

Brother when you weep for me, Remember that it was meant to be.
Lay me down and when you leave, Remember I'll be at your sleeve.
In every dark and choking hall, I'll be there as you slowly crawl.
On every roof in driving snow, I'll hold your coat and you will know.
In cellars hot with searing heat, At windows where a gate you meet,
In closets where young children hide, You know I'll be there at your side.
The house from which I now respond Is overstaffed with heroes gone.
Men who answered one last bell, Did the job and did it well.
As firemen, we understand, That death's a card dealt in our hand --
A card we hope we never play, But one we hold there anyway.
That card is something we ignore, As we crawl across a weakened floor.
For we know that we're the only prayer, For anyone that might be there.
So remember, as you wipe your tears, The joy I knew throughout the years.
As I did the job I loved to do, I pray that thought will see you through.

They did the job they loved to do,
and now we must pray that memory will see us through.
May God bless each of them, and all of you.
